How an online chess lesson works
The shared board, video call and preparation for a first lesson.
A call and a shared board
The lesson combines Zoom or Google Meet with a shared chessboard. You can discuss a position, play a move and see alternatives on the same board. A physical set is optional. Test the microphone and connection before the meeting so the lesson can start with chess.
What to send beforehand
Share your experience, goal, lesson language and time zone. If you already play, add a link or PGN from a recent game. Beginners do not need to prepare a game or buy a course first. The coach can begin with the pieces, the rules and a simple position.
What happens during the lesson
Start with a question or a previous exercise, explore an idea and try it on the board. You explain your move; the coach asks questions and checks alternatives with you. At the end, agree on what to practise before the next meeting. The balance of explanation and play depends on your starting point.
Booking from another country
Use the email option in the form if you do not use Telegram. Include your time zone and preferred English or Russian lesson language. A Serbian website version is available, but it does not mean lessons are taught in Serbian. Nikita confirms availability directly. Trial: 40 minutes, 1,200 RUB; no payment is taken on the website.
